I think my Freckle Rib socks are too big in the foot. I’ve already restarted it once and now I’m pretty far along:
Sigh. I checked my gauge with these in the beginning. I didn’t like the fabric I was getting, so I ripped it out and started again with smaller needles. They are still too big in the foot. I think I will go ahead and finish them and follow the medium size with the second sock. Hopefully, the difference won’t be too pronounced; if it is, I guess I will rip out the first and re-knit it.
I’m chalking it up as a learning experience as I’m still trying to master toe-up socks. Plus, extra knitting time with STR. You can’t beat that! I love this colorway: Freckles. It is so pretty the way the colors work together. This is one of the color combinations that didn’t seem like it would work and then, magically, it does.
